The “Pré-Escolar Jango” community pre-school microproject, developed by trainee Andrade from the ADPP Caxito Teacher Training School, is bringing new learning opportunities to children in the municipality of Úcua, becoming a reference in promoting early childhood education.
The impact of the activity has attracted the attention of local authorities, who recognise its potential to expand children’s access to a safe and stimulating environment where they can learn, play and develop their skills from the earliest years of life.
During a visit to the educational space, the Municipal Administrator of Úcua, Lúcia Pedro Mulanvo, expressed her satisfaction with the results achieved and donated a television and a generator. These items will strengthen the educational and recreational activities carried out with the children.
The students’ commitment to community development also extends to the municipality of Pango Aluquém, where student Laurinda Castigo implemented a microproject to construct community washing facilities, contributing to improved hygiene, health and well-being for local families.
In the same area, student Flávio António developed a poultry farming microproject, creating new income-generating opportunities and strengthening food security among beneficiary communities.
