ADPP Angola presented, in Luanda, the 2025 Annual Report at a ceremony that brought together partners, representatives of State institutions and other guests to learn about the main results achieved by the organisation in the areas of Education, Health, Agriculture and Environment, and Integrated Community Development. Among those present was the former Minister of Education, Dr Pinda Simão, one of the people honoured during the ceremony.

In an interview with TPA, Dr Pinda Simão highlighted the results achieved by ADPP Angola throughout its 40 years of work in the country, which began in 1986. He also emphasised the organisation’s contribution beyond promoting access to education, particularly in the areas of social inclusion, community development and improving people’s living conditions.

The 2025 Annual Report presents the main results and experiences of the work carried out with communities, reflecting ADPP Angola’s activities in different regions of the country and in areas that contribute to sustainable development and improving opportunities for the population.

During the ceremony, participants also had the opportunity to learn about projects and activities developed on the ground through an exhibition of materials and other examples of the work carried out by the organisation and its partners with communities.

On the occasion, the Chairperson of the Board of ADPP Angola, Rikke Viholm, highlighted the special significance of the report’s presentation, in a year marked by the 30th anniversary of the ADPP Teacher Training Colleges and preparations for the celebration of ADPP Angola’s 40th anniversary.

Over these four decades, the organisation has worked in different areas, maintaining a close presence in communities and focusing on education, health, agricultural production, environmental protection and community development.

The ceremony ended with moments of fellowship, which included the symbolic presentation of a Cacuaco chicken, a theatrical performance and a musical performance by students from the ADPP Cazenga Polytechnic School.

The presentation of the 2025 Annual Report was thus an opportunity to reflect on the results achieved and the journey built by ADPP Angola over four decades of work in the country.
