ADPP Angola participated in the Angola–European Union 2026 Lobito Corridor Business Forum, held in Luanda. The event brought together representatives from the Government of Angola, the European Union, public institutions, the private sector, and development partners to discuss investment and development opportunities along this important economic and logistics corridor.

The forum served as an important platform for dialogue and cooperation, focusing on mobilizing sustainable investments, strengthening value chains, and promoting inclusive economic development along the Lobito Corridor.

During the panel session on “Agriculture: Production and Processing,” ADPP Angola presented its experience in promoting family farming and rural development, highlighting nearly 40 years of work with farming communities across different provinces of the country.

The presentation was delivered by Evaristo Waya, who shared the results achieved through the Farmers’ Clubs approach, which has contributed to increased agricultural production, improved food security, and strengthened the technical and organizational capacities of rural families.

The panel also addressed the national strategy for transforming the agricultural sector, with a focus on investment, farmer training, technology transfer, and the strengthening of agricultural value chains.
