There are close ties with the local primary schools. Teacher Training School Cabinda trainees reach between 4,000 and 5,000 primary pupils directly each year, and the influence they have on teaching is far reaching. Impact

Teacher Training School Cabinda promotes and delivers quality primary education in the province. 2nd Year students undertake teaching practice at different primary schools each year, and 3rd Year students reach all four municipalities during long-term teaching practice. Pedagogical sessions spread new and modern ideas and methods among in-service teachers.
The effect of the project on the students is marked. Team 2018, the new students, experience a form of learning, a pace of studying and a way of working together that is novel and challenging. They have opportunities to experience realities they would otherwise be unaware of and learn to tackle whatever problem they are faced with. They are encouraged to voice their opinion at common meetings, where important decisions are made.
